Artist-Writer Pairing Program

The purpose of our pairing program is to foster meaningful connections between Montréal-based contemporary artists and university students.

Students in the program conduct in-depth interviews with local artists, gaining firsthand insight into their creative processes and professional trajectories. These conversations are then developed into articles that are published on our website, offering readers an accessible window into Montréal’s contemporary art scene.

Through this program, students gain non-academic writing and publishing experience while artists have the opportunity to broaden their audience and expand their paper trail.
